Celebrate one the most extraordinary teams in NBA history with a 7-disc collector’s set that contains more than 10 hours of content including all six games from the Celtics’ thrilling 1986 NBA Finals victory over the Rockets in their entirety and original broadcast form. This DVD collector’s set includes behind-the-scenes features and exclusive interviews and will be available on April 15, 2008 for $49.98 SRP. The 1986 Boston Celtics team, which finished the regular season 67-15, is generally considered to be one the best teams of all-time. Led by the legendary Larry Bird, and fellow hall of fame players Kevin McHale and Robert Parish, the ‘86 Celtics ran over the competition en-route to taking their 16th World Championship and third in six years. Under the tutelage of head coach K.C. Jones, a talented backcourt featuring Dennis Johnson and Danny Ainge, and the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award winner, Bill Walton, the 1986 Celtics were widely seen as one of the deepest teams in Celtics’ history.
