Christopher Rich And Melissa Peterman Poke Fun At Themselves And Their Fellow WB Actors As Hosts Of The “The WB’s Outrageous Outtakes”

(March 7, 2003 – Hollywood, CA) — Christopher Rich and Melissa Peterman, who are currently starring in their second season of The WB’s hit comedy “Reba,” will join comedic forces to serve as hosts of the one-hour special “THE WB’S OUTRAGEOUS OUTTAKES.” The special is scheduled to air on Sunday, March 16 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) on The WB. “THE WB’S OUTRAGEOUS OUTTAKES” will feature rare behind-the-scenes outtakes from some of television’s most recognizable faces and popular series. In addition to never-before-seen “Reba” bloopers featuring our hosts with co-star Reba McEntire, the special is filled with fabulously funny flubs from such fan-favorite WB series -- past and present -- as “Smallville,” “Gilmore Girls,” “Everwood,” “Angel,” “Greetings From Tucson,” “Grounded For Life,” “JKX: The Jamie Kennedy Experiment,” “What I Like About You,” “The Jamie Foxx Show” and “The Steve Harvey Show.” Additionally, a few WB stars will make surprise appearances to introduce what can only be described as some of their most embarrassing career moments. Currently starring as Reba McEntire’s ex-husband Brock Hart on The WB’s “Reba,” Rich may be most familiar to television viewers as the dim-witted anchorman Miller Redfield on “Murphy Brown.” His additional television credits include a series regular role on “The George Carlin Show,” as well as producing and starring in the television movie “The Gambler IV,” which marked his first project with McEntire. His feature film credits include “The Joy Luck Club” and “Flight of the Intruder.” Peterman stars as “Reba’s” Barbra Jean, an impossibly perky dental hygienist who had an affair with and is now married to Reba’s ex-husband, Brock (Rich). An incredibly strong stage and stand-up performer, Peterman made her film debut playing Hooker #2 in the Coen brothers’ Oscar-winning movie “Fargo.” She also appeared in the film “How High” with Fred Willard, Hector Elizondo and Method Man, and can be seen in the upcoming comedy “Recipe for Disaster.” “THE WB’S OUTRAGEOUS OUTTAKES” is produced by Brad Lachman Productions.
