Brazil Falls in Love with “The Bachelor” as Warner Bros. International Television Production Secures the First Latin American Version of the Format for Rede TV!
(October 28, 2013 – Burbank, CA) – Hit reality series “The Bachelor” continues to travel successfully around the globe, with Warner Bros. International Television Production announcing that the format is now to be produced in Brazil.
The eleven episode season, which includes a feature length special episode, has been commissioned by Rede TV! and is being produced in-house, due to air in Fall 2014. This is the first time the show has ever been produced in Latin America.
“The Bachelor” remains one of the world’s most successful event television brands, having been produced in over 30 territories to date.

Warner Bros. International Television Production has licensed the format in 30 territories including: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Israel, The Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, U.K. and Ukraine.
In “The Bachelor,” one lucky man is offered the chance to find true love. The series takes the Bachelor — and viewers — on the ultimate romantic journey, filled with drama and passion, in which 25 women compete to try and win his heart. Expect flirting, intense competition among the ladies and heartfelt emotion as the contestants do whatever it takes to impress the eligible bachelors.
Through a variety of group dates and intimate meetings, the Bachelor will decide which woman is right for him.
