Barry Watson And Jessica Biel Return Home To The WB’s Hit Series “7th Heaven”

(January 11, 2003 – Hollywood, CA) – Former “7TH HEAVEN” series regulars Barry Watson and Jessica Biel make a much-anticipated return to The WB’s highest-rated program, on the series’ landmark 150th episode which is scheduled to air Monday, April 21 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET). Watson will appear in two additional episodes of the series that is produced by Spelling Television. “Barry’s positive attitude while working with us and undergoing chemotherapy was an inspiration to ‘7th Heaven’s’ writers, and we’re thrilled that he is now cancer-free, healthy and happy,” said creator and executive producer Brenda Hampton. “That he’s also agreed to step back in front of the camera for the 150th episode as well as the two-part finale after all he’s been through is a testament to his commitment to the show’s success and longevity. We’re also pleased to have Jesse join us for this special event.” Beloved by their “7TH HEAVEN” fans, Watson and Biel starred for six seasons as the two eldest Camden children, Matt and Mary. In the series’ seventh and current season, newlywed Matt is attending medical school in New York and Mary is working as a flight attendant based in Florida. For the 150th episode, Matt and Mary will return home to Glen Oak for what can only be described as the biggest Camden family event of the year. Watson starred in the feature films “Teaching Mrs. Tingle” and “Sorority Girls.” Currently, he serves as a story editor on “7TH HEAVEN” for which he wrote his first episode earlier in the season. Biel’s feature film credits include “Rules of Attraction,” “Summer Catch” and “Ulee’s Gold.” Most recently, she wrapped production on a remake of “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.” “7TH HEAVEN” was created by Hampton (“Mad About You,” “Blossom”), who also serves as executive producer, along with Aaron Spelling and E. Duke Vincent. The series, which originally premiered on August 26, 1996, is produced by Spelling Television Inc., a Paramount/Viacom company.
