Audrey Schlaepfer Promoted To Executive Vice President, Merchandising For Warner Bros. Studio Stores

(April 26, 2000 – Burbank, CA) – Audrey Schlaepfer has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Merchandising for the Studio Store division of Warner Bros. Consumer Products, it was announced today by George Jones, President, Warner Bros. Worldwide Licensing and Warner Bros. Studio Stores. Reporting to Jones, Schlaepfer will oversee all merchandising related functions for the Studio Stores division, including hard goods, soft goods, design and sourcing. She most recently held the position of Senior Vice President, Hard Goods and Gallery. “Audrey has repeatedly proven herself as a talented executive with exceptional merchandising experience,” said Jones. “Her considerable skills and leadership qualities make her the ideal person to lead our efforts as we strive to provide the best in entertainment retail.” Schlaepfer joined Warner Bros. Studio Stores in 1994 as Vice President, Merchandising for Home and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 1996. Previously, from 1992 to 1994, she was Merchandise Vice President of Home Furnishings at R.H. Macy’s and Company, where she was instrumental in advancing Macy’s home private label business. Ms. Schlaepfer, recognized as a key player in the home industry, held a number of management positions at Macy’s during a merchandising management career that has spanned nearly 20 years. Schlaepfer earned a Masters in Business Administration degree from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College, New York City. Warner Bros.
