The All-New Animated “Kung Fu 3D,” Based On The TV Classic “Kung Fu,” To Premiere On Entertaindom

(November 14, 2000 - Burbank, CA) – An all-new animated “Kung Fu 3D,” a totally interactive and unique Web journey based on the classic “Kung Fu” television series, will premiere tomorrow (Wednesday, November 15 at 2 PM PST) on Entertaindom (www.entertaindom.com and accessible at www.kungfu3D.com). A new installment will premiere each Wednesday for the next 12 weeks. The project is from Entertaindom and Warner Bros. Television, in collaboration with Pulse Entertainment. “Kung Fu 3D” will feature renowned film and television actor David Carradine lending his vocal talents to reprise the character he portrayed in both the classic 1970s “Kung Fu” television series and the more recent syndicated series “Kung Fu: The Legend Continues.” Carradine portrays the mysterious Kwai Chang Caine, a martial arts master and Shaolin priest wandering America’s Old West in 1870. Throughout this new Web serial, 30-year-old Caine lives by and upholds the spiritual beliefs that have driven him to continually condemn violence and force. Clyde Kusatsu (“American Pie,” “Babylon 5: Thirdspace,” “Batman Beyond”) will voice Master Po, the beloved teacher and mentor from Caine’s childhood, while Tim Lounibos (“The Practice,” “Touched by an Angel”) provides the voice of Caine as a teenager, seen in flashbacks throughout “Kung Fu 3D.” To further the “Kung Fu” experience, the “Kung Fu 3D” Web site (www.kungfu3D.com or via www.entertaindom.com) will feature a number of other engaging interactive elements. Users will be able to click and select various objects to gain more insight into characters, plot elements and interesting facts about the Shaolin way of life and the Old West. Users can also participate in on-screen “training sessions,” where they can choose from a variety of styles and movements for Kwai Chang Caine to use as he hones his Kung Fu skills.
