A&E Network To Air Encore Of Special Two Hour “Third Watch” Episode

(October 19, 2001 – New York, NY) - A&E Network will air the repeat of the special two-hour “THIRD WATCH” episode, entitled “In Their Own Words,” on Friday, October 26, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, it was announced today by Allen Sabinson, Senior Vice President of Programming. The episode, which originally aired on Monday, October 15 on NBC, is a two-hour salute to New York City’s safety personnel. The non-scripted episode is a tribute in which members of the cast, who portray a group of emergency personnel, interact with their heroic, real-life New York City counterparts. In September, A&E announced that it acquired the exclusive off-network television rights to the popular one-hour drama, “THIRD WATCH,” in a deal with Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution.
