“Stanley Kubrick Collection” From Warner Home Video

(February 13, 2001 – Burbank, CA) - Warner Home Video’s (WHV) new “Stanley Kubrick Collection” -- including eight of the great director’s masterpieces in stunning all-new digital transfers, restored picture and new digital audio -- will be released June 12 on DVD and VHS. Debuting exclusively in the eight-title gift set - having its premiere showing at the prestigious Berlin Film Festival February 17- is “Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures,” a powerful new 2 hour and 20 minute documentary, narrated by Tom Cruise and made by four filmmakers, longtime Kubrick collaborators who embarked on this as a labor of love. The first full-length documentary made with the Kubrick family’s co-operation presents a never-before seen, revealing portrait of Kubrick, sometimes in his own words, at work and with his family. Christiane Kubrick, the director’s wife of more than 42 years, only recently made the film footage and family photographs available. Among the long list of actors, friends and colleagues paying tribute are Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, Woody Allen, Martin Scorsese, Alan Parker, Malcolm MacDowell, Peter Ustinov, Arthur C.
