“Lopez Tonight” Names Lori Teig Senior Talent Executive And Leanne Elias Talent Executive

(August 6, 2009 – Burbank, CA) – Lori Teig and Leanne Elias have been named Senior Talent Executive and Talent Executive of “Lopez Tonight,” the newest entry in late-night talk, starring George Lopez and launching on TBS on November 9, 2009. The announcement was made today by Jim Paratore, Executive Producer of “Lopez Tonight.” “We’re thrilled to have Lori and Leanne join the ‘Lopez’ team. They have the kind of experience and energy that we’re looking for. The current late night shows only reach 30% of the late night audience and there’s a high duplication of audience among them. George will reach the younger, female and ethnic audiences that the other shows don’t reach. We look forward to working with the Hollywood community to help them reach these important underserved groups,” said Paratore. Teig has been a freelance Talent Booker for Premiere Radio since 2007 and Director of Celebrity Talent and Casting for Fuse since 2006. Previously, Teig served as Talent Executive on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and before that she was the senior talent booker at “Living it Up with Ali and Jack” and held a position at Central Talent Booking. Teig began her career in the talent department at MTV. Most recently, Elias served as Talent Booker for numerous series and pilots on HGTV, The History Channel and MTV. Before that, Elias served as Talent Booker on “Tom Green’s House Tonight” and then as Talent Executive on the test run of “Wendy Williams Show.” Previously she served as the West Coast Editor for Stuff Magazine and Central Talent Booking Los Angeles office. Elias started out as a Marketing Manager with Davie-Brown Entertainment. With “Lopez Tonight,” George Lopez will bring his high-energy, opinionated, irreverent and very funny comedy to late night on TBS. This 60-minute program will break out of the pack and re-energize late-night. It will air Mondays–Thursdays at 11 p.m. ET/PT on TBS. “Lopez Tonight” is produced by 2.2 Productions, para Media Inc. and Telepictures Productions in association with Warner Horizon Television.
