“American Pie” Star Jason Biggs Joins Fellow ‘Pie’ Alumni Eddie Kaye Thomas, John Cho And Executive Producers Chris & Paul Weitz On The WB Comedy “Off Centre”

(January 3, 2002 – Burbank, CA) — “American Pie” star Jason Biggs leaves his pie behind to guest star on The WB comedy “OFF CENTRE” alongside his film co-stars Eddie Kaye Thomas and John Cho. The episode featuring Biggs will air on The WB on Sunday, January 20 (9:00-9:30 p.m. ET). Chris and Paul Weitz, who created “OFF CENTRE” with Danny Zuker, are also of ‘Pie’ fame, having co-directed “American Pie” and produced the sequel. “It was like having an ‘American Pie’ flashback,” said Paul Weitz. “They still didn’t listen to me.” The episode, titled “The Good, the Bad, and the Lazy,” features Biggs as Rick Steve, a loser career counselor with two first names and zero advice. When Mike (Eddie Kaye Thomas) finds himself lost in his search for a meaningful way to make a living, he turns to Rick Steve, whose insecurities are as obvious as his annoying tendency to refer to himself as “Rick Steve.” This summer, Biggs reprised his infamous role as Jim Levenstein in the sequel to the blockbuster hit comedy “American Pie.” Eddie Kaye Thomas appeared opposite Biggs in both films as Finch, a philosophizing teen who acts older than his age and seduces his friend’s mother. “OFF CENTRE” star John Cho also appeared in the movies. “OFF CENTRE” is produced by DreamWorks SKG Television in association with Warner Bros. Television. Sean Maguire, Lauren Stamile, John Cho and Jason George also star.
