“The Hills Run Red” September 29 On DVD From Warner Home Video
(June 30, 2009 – Burbank, CA) – Dark, twisted, disturbing ... and fiendishly clever. “The Hills Run Red,” the chilling new film from Warner Premiere that gives a smart twist on extreme horror, with more blood, torture, and suspense than ever before, debuts on DVD September 29 from Warner Home Video (WHV) and will be available for $19.98 SRP.
“The Hills Run Red” was successfully launched at the 2008 Comic-Con in San Diego, followed by a well-received sneak peak at the 2009 Fangoria Weekend of Horrors in Los Angeles and had its world premiere at the 2009 Seattle International Film Festival.
Dark Castle Entertainment’s Joel Silver (“The Matrix,” “V For Vendetta”), Steve Richards (“House of Wax,” “Gothika”) and Erik Olsen (“The Reaping,” “Return to House on Haunted Hill”) serve as executive producers. Robert Meyer Burnett produced, along with John Carchietta, Roee Sharon Paled, and Jonathan Tzachor as well as Carl Morano as executive producer. Directed by Dave Parker (“The Dead Hate the Living!”), “The Hills Run Red” stars Sophie Monk (“Click,” “Spring Breakdown – 2009”), Tad Hilgenbrink (“Lost Boys: The Tribe,” “Disaster Movie,” “American Pie Presents: Band Camp”), Janet Montgomery (“Wrong Turn 3”) and William Sadler (“Shawshank Redemption,” “The Green Mile,” “Eagle Eye”).

Synopsis
