Nine Nominations for WB Pictures and WB Television

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced the nominees for the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards earlier today.

The following Warner Bros. Pictures and Warner Bros. Television properties and talent received a total of nine nominations:

"Joker"

  • Best Motion Picture – Drama
  • Best Director – Motion Picture (Todd Phillips)
  • Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama (Joaquin Phoenix)
  • Best Original Score – Motion Picture (Hildur Guðnadóttir)

"Motherless Brooklyn"

  • Best Original Score – Motion Picture (Daniel Pemberton)

"Richard Jewell"

In addition to these categories, the 2020 Golden Globes will honor Ellen DeGeneres with the Carol Burnett Award. The Carol Burnett Award was created in 2018 to honor excellence in television.
