Nick Jonas Joins "The Voice" for Season 18
Nick Jonas shared with Ellen DeGeneres on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" a big announcement on Monday: He will be joining "The Voice" for Season 18 as a coach!
Returning coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend sent video messages to Jonas, congratulating and welcoming him to the team.
"I'm so excited to be a part of 'The Voice' family," said Jonas. "It's such an awesome group of individuals, and I can't wait to help these artists really build and hone in to find their unique voices."
Jonas will be answering questions from fans on Twitter tonight at 7:30 p.m. PST.
Nick Jonas is one-third of Jonas Brothers, who recently came back together in March after a 10-year hiatus. Loved by many fans worldwide, the successful and award-winning male pop group recently placed No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with their now platinum-certified album, "Happiness Begins".
As a solo artist, his successes include being a recipient of the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s prestigious Hal David Starlight Award, nominated for 2018 Golden Globe award in the category of "Best Original Song" and more. Jonas also stars as an actor in "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" and guest-stars in "Scream Queens".
The Blind Auditions for Season 17 of "The Voice" with coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, continue tonight and tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
