The Perfect Recipe for the New Mob Drama ‘The Kitchen’

You know what they say… if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. And Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish and Elisabeth Moss sure do know how to turn up the heat in their gritty, new mob drama The Kitchen – based on the DC Comics/Vertigo comic book series. 

McCarthy and Haddish – best known for their sidesplitting comedies – are stepping outside their traditional roles alongside Moss in the female-driven drama. The trio all have something in common — their Irish mobster husbands have been arrested and sent to prison by the FBI. Left to their own devices, the mob wives take over their spouses’ organized crime operation  — becoming some of the most powerful and cutthroat gangsters in 1970s Hell’s Kitchen.
