2017 Oscar Nominations Announced

WB Earns Four Noms

The "show of shows" of Hollywood's award season announced its nominations this morning. Beginning at 5:18 a.m. the nominations for the 89th annual Oscars® were announced and Warner Bros. is honored to be a multi-nominee. 

Members of the Academy vote to determine the nominees in each of their respective categories; actors nominate actors, directors nominate directors and so on. However, in the Animated Feature Film and Foreign Language Film categories, the nominees are chosen through a vote of multi-branched screening committees. All members may vote to select Best Picture nominees.
