Gilmore Girls 16th Anniversary

It’s hard to believe that this week marks the Sweet 16 of our first visit to Stars Hollow with the Gilmores—Loreli (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel)—and there’s a lot to be excited about with the rapidly approaching all-new Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life arriving on Netflix November 25 with four 90-minute chapters.

And it’s not just the Gilmore girls returning either, this is an impressive list of your favorite characters reuniting, including stars Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore) and Scott Patterson (Luke Danes), along with guest appearances by a host of others, including Melissa McCarthy (Sookie St. James), Milo Ventimiglia (Jess Mariano), Matt Czuchry (Logan Huntzberger), Liza Weil (Paris Geller), Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester), Yanic Truesdale (Michel Gerard), Keiko Agena (Lane Kim), Sean Gunn (Kirk Gleason) and many, many more.

To celebrate this ride down the home stretch, this past Wednesday 200 diners around the country were transformed into Luke’s Diner for the day!

And speaking of Stars Hollow, you may as well pay a visit to the revised official site. Apparently Kirk lost the password all those years ago and now it’s back!

With a little more than a month to go for the return of the Gilmore Girls, this would be an excellent time to relive those magical seven seasons and you can do it today, either on DVD or digitally. Here’s a fun trailer from the folks at Warner Home Video to encourage you to visit Stars Hollow:
