Experience Horror, Hollywood Style
Horror lovers are in for a treat (not a trick) this October when—for two nights only—the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood presents "Horror Made Here: A Halloween Screening and Twilight Tour." This limited engagement will run Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29, taking lucky guests to visit classic set locations and hear insider tales of the some of the most classic horror films shot on the Warner Bros. Studio lot.
The tour gives fans the opportunity to go behind the camera with a special evening visit to exterior sets and stages where scenes from some of our creepiest, crawliest horror masterpieces such as The Lost Boys, Gremlins, House of Wax (1953), and What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? were shot. After getting good and spooked visiting the lot at twilight, guests will unwind with a special screening of the supernatural horror film The Conjuring (Friday) and The Conjuring 2 (Saturday).
And there's more movie magic in store when a spooky photo opportunity provides visitors the final touch to their Horror Made Here experience. Guests will take the ultimate “head shot” (this is Hollywood after all) where the final effect—achieved by a mirror illusion—reveals a photo of themselves with their head on a platter to "serve" (get it?) as a memento of their visit.
Tickets are on sale now for $75 per person—price includes the tour, screening, and movie-themed treats. Guests under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Valid ID will be required upon entry to the tour.
