2016 TCM Classic Film Festival
The TCM Classic Film Festival is coming to town once again. This year the festival will explore the theme of "Moving Pictures" and all the subtext behind that idea, with a look at films that move us to tears, laughter, to become a better person, raise our social consciousness or shake us to our core and cause us to question our own humanity. This emotional journey will play out over four days in Hollywood from April 28–May 1 with dozens of screenings, discussions and events.
As in years past, films from the WB library will be well represented as part of the festival. In fact, in honor of its 40th anniversary, All the President's Men will hold the honor of kicking off the festival on Thursday evening with Carl Bernstein (investigative reporter responsible for breaking the Watergate scandal, portrayed by Dustin Hoffman in the film) in attendance.
