Angelenos who are fans of the moody, suspenseful, sometimes smoky and always well-lit genre known as film noir are in for a treat when LA's longest running noir film festival begins its run for the 18th year on Friday at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. Noir City Hollywood: The 18th Annual Los Angeles Festival of Noir will run from April 15-24. The festival will feature rare movies, 35mm prints of several films and guests from the Film Noir Foundation.

And what would a noir fest be without our own Warner Archive Collection to screen a few gems? Join us on April 21 for a special "Warner Night for Noir City" where Warner Archive will giving away DVDs (15 in total) during a double feature of Deep Valley and Flaxy Martin.
