Ben Affleck to Return as Batman

News from CinemaCon 2016

Batfleck will be returning! Ben Affleck, who starred as the moody anti-hero Batman in the recent Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, is confirmed to be returning to the DC Universe. In Las Vegas yesterday at CinemaCon, Warner Bros. Chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara announced that Affleck will appear as Batman in an upcoming Justice League movie as well as star and direct in a standalone Batman feature. Affleck is not new to the role of actor/director, having directed and starred in both the 2012 political thriller Argo (which won the Oscar for Best Picture, to boot) and 2010's The Town.
