It's Superman's Birthday!

Did you know that the chances of having a Leap Day birthday are about one in approximately 1,461? Those are some pretty slim odds of being born on February 29 but if you happen to have the word "Super" in your name and are gifted with god-like powers, celebrating a birthday that only rolls around once every four years is probably destiny. To help mark this momentous occasion, DC Comics reached out to Superman's Superfans far and wide inviting them to wish the Man of Steel a happy birthday in their own words. Ranging from sincere, inspiring and ecstatic these lifelong fans remind us, at his core, what's so very enduring about the Superman legacy. As one contributor eloquently boiled it down to in his birthday greeting:

It's not about what powers you have, or what you wear on your chest. It's about what you do.
