"Mad Max: Fury Road" Joins Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood is now giving fans a chance to get up close and personal with the Oscar winning costumes from Mad Max: Fury Road, which received 10 Academy Awards nominations in all. These are the authentic costumes worn by the stars of the film, including Tom Hardy (Mad Max himself), Charlize Theron (Imperator Furiosa), Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (Splendid), Richard Carter (The Bullet Farmer), Angus Simpson (Organic Mechanic) and John Howard (The People Eater).

This is just the latest exciting addition to the tour's most recent interactive expansion, Stage 48: Script to Screen, which opened last summer.

Incorporating the film’s theme of survival, costume designer Jenny Beavan chose function over form while fashioning each costume. Beavan’s work for Mad Max: Fury Road has already won the BAFTA Award and the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Costume Design, as well as winning the Costume Designers Guild Award for Excellence in Fantasy Film. She is nominated for the Academy Award for Best Achievement in Costume Design at this Sunday's ceremony.
