"We Are Your Friends" Takes to the Streets

With the upcoming August 28 theatrical release of We Are Your Friends—a cinematic celebration of the Electronic Dance Music community—Warner Bros. Pictures and A-OK Collective are literally taking this movie promotion to the streets of North America. And having studied the career aspect of being a working DJ for the film, star Zac Efron is obviously putting what he learned about the promo side of things to good use judging by this Tweet!

This EDM series of events being dubbed The WAYF Tour (#WAYFTour) will be rolling through six North American cities in eight days (there will also be events in London and Paris to be announced shortly). This is a chance to join the stars of We Are Your Friends—Efron and Emily Ratajkowski—and director Max Joseph for an early screening of the film, followed by an after-party with a lineup of DJs from the movie and soundtrack, including Hook N Sling, Pyramid and Vito & Druzzi (The Rapture DJs) who will be appearing in different cities.
