CW Seed
And if you want a better understanding of just what CW Seed is, we could write up a boring sentence about how it’s a digital comedy channel online that includes original content as well as series from the past. Or we can give you their tagline: “It’s like The CW, only funnier,” but we’d rather use some of CW Seed’s humorous FAQ to tell the story:
Q: What is CW Seed?
A: CW Seed is The CW's digital home for comedy. We've got original shows like the Veronica Mars spin-off, Play It Again, Dick, and a little something we call Every Whose Line Episode Ever.
Q: Every Whose Line?
A: Yep. Something like 214 last time we checked.
Q: Why can't I watch your shows in Canada/outside the U.S.?
A: Lawyers and such. We're a U.S. company so we only bought the rights to show stuff in the United States.
Q: So you're not The CW?
A: No, we're the younger sibling that didn't get as much parental supervision.
All that aside, CW Seed’s original programming slate includes the Veronica Mars spin-off Play It Again, Dick, and they’ve recently added the full seasons of the 1990 television series of The Flash, as well as some other favs from television’s past including Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Almost Human and Hellcats. Oh yeah, and it’s FREE!
