2015 TCM Classic Film Festival

For the sixth consecutive year, thousands of movie lovers from around the globe will descend on Hollywood for the TCM Classic Film Festival, which takes place from Thursday, March 26 through Sunday, March 29. Throughout these celluloid-packed four days, attendees will be treated to an extensive line-up of great movie screenings, appearances by legendary stars and filmmakers, as well as presentations and panel discussions guaranteed to thrill the movie buff in all of us.

This year, the Warner Bros. Film Library will be well-represented with seven classic movies being screened during the long festival weekend.

Of special note is the 50^th anniversary celebration surrounding the screening of 1965’s The Cincinnati Kid, which will be introduced by none other than the film’s star Ann-Margret, who played opposite the late Steve McQueen in the lead role of a young gambler who takes on another screen icon, Edward G. Robinson. Throughout her 50-plus year career, the multi-talented Ann-Margret has been nominated for two Academy Awards, has won five Golden Globe Awards and an Emmy (to go along with five other Emmy nominations). And if that weren't enough, she was also nominated for a Grammy in 2001 for her album, God is Love: The Gospel Sessions.

In another example of the festival's star power, the screening of 1992’s Malcolm X will feature none other than director/co-writer/co-star Spike Lee in attendance as well.

The other five films being screened from our illustrious library are 1933’s dazzling musical 42^nd Street, 1939’s lavish production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, 1953’s rollicking Old West musical Calamity Jane, 1965’s epic tale of lovers caught up in the Russian Revolution Doctor Zhivago and 1975’s true-life adventure The Wind and the Lion.

Passes for the festival are on sale now with four different levels of access offered.
