"Shadow of Mordor" Captures Eight Awards
We're thrilled to announce that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE) scored BIG at the 18th Annual D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Awards held in Las Vegas last week, as Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor was the most honored game at the ceremony. All in all, the game captured eight D.I.C.E. Awards for "Adventure Game of the Year," “Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction,” “Outstanding Achievement in Game Design,” “Outstanding Innovation in Gaming,” “Outstanding Achievement in Character: Talion,” “Outstanding Achievement in Story,” “Outstanding Technical Achievement” and “Outstanding Achievement in Animation.”
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor has also been nominated for "Best Game," "Game Design," "Game Innovation" and "Music") by BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) for its British Academy Games Awards, which will take place in London on March 12. In addition, The LEGO Movie Video Game has been nominate for "Best Family Game."
